How to combine several photos into one image for a listing

Most classifieds sites accept several photos, but only the first one shows in the results feed. Buyers scrolling past see a single angle of your item, and they often miss its best side. The fix is to combine several photos into one image. There are two ways to do it.

Method 1: the animated image (slideshow)

This is the most effective option. Your photos cycle one after another inside a single image, like a mini slideshow. Here is how:

1. Open the animated image maker (free, no sign-up);
2. Drag in 3 to 6 photos of your item, best one first;
3. Pick the format (square, landscape, portrait) and framing;
4. Download the generated image and add it to your listing as a photo.

The finished image shows every view in turn: front, back, labels, accessories, any wear. That covers everything a buyer wants to check before messaging you.

Good to know: each site processes images its own way. Some keep the animation, others freeze it on the first frame when re-encoding. Test on one of your listings, and always put your best photo first. Worst case, that is what shows, like a classic photo.

The classic alternative is to paste 2 to 4 photos side by side in a grid with any photo or collage app. It is simple and works everywhere, but each photo gets small, and on a phone screen details become hard to read. A collage suits a before/after or two complementary angles; beyond that, the animated image stays more readable since each photo displays full size, in turn.
