A photo collage for your listing: simple, free, accepted everywhere

A collage gathers several views of your item into one still image. Its big advantage: it is a photo like any other, so every selling site accepts it, no exceptions. Here is how to make a clean one in a minute, without editing software.

The one-minute method

Drop your photos into the free tool. It produces two images at once: an animated image that cycles through your views, and the still collage. The collage layout is automatic: your first photo large, the others beside it, with clean margins. Download whichever serves you, or both.

Collage or animated image?

Both show several views in a single photo slot. The animated image draws more attention in a listings feed, on sites that keep animations (France's Leboncoin does, we tested it). The collage works everywhere: Vinted, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, a club website, a messenger. Many sellers post the animated one where it survives and the collage everywhere else, from the same set of photos.

The rules of a readable collage

A collage fails when it tries to show too much. Three rules are enough:

• Five photos at most. Beyond that, each cell becomes a stamp. The tool stops at your first five.
• Your best view large. It does the catching, the others complete it: the back, a detail, the label, a flaw shown honestly.

What the collage does not show

Being frank: at equal surface, each view in a collage is smaller than a full-frame photo, and it stops at five views where the animated image takes them all. If your platform keeps animations, the animated image remains the option that shows the most. The collage is the option that works everywhere. The tool gives you both, and you choose listing by listing.
